Book Review
The Conflicts in this book are that Winston and the few friends he has go up agaisnt the Party and all of the power it has in that society. They took whatever they wanted and made it true. They could take over the minds of anyone who was even suspected of having a thought against theirs beliefs. This book shows how the spirit of people can overpower and evil that is controling it but it still shows the tragedy of what those in power do. It is believable because this kind of society has been started in Nazi Germany and Communist Russia. This instils a fear that things like this could happen again and become even worse like in the book. Winston talks about how the will of Man will overpower any evil but he himself struggles to keep himself unchanged.
